Building in the rail infrastructure sector means understanding the overall railway system. SRS SPITZKE RAIL SWISS AG can claim this. As a subsidiary of SPITZKE SE, we not only provide all those involved in the execution of construction work, but are also the right partner for all questions concerning any aspect of the project organisation, for example, for interval and construction phase planning. The sooner the construction and interval planning are coordinated, the more economically and time-optimised a project can be completed. With top-quality standards and intelligent control, SRS provides individual and interdisciplinary complete solutions from a single source for projects, track, contact line/electrical engineering, technology, logistics and production for all railway operators.
SRS SPITZKE RAIL SWISS AG is a partner for rail projects of all sizes, with all kinds of different requirements regarding the track, contact line or large machinery, construction site logistics or special safety engineering, and for the production of prestressed concrete products. Our networked project management skills – from project initialisation through to project completion – and close-knit cooperation within the Group pays off– especially where complex projects are concerned. The success of a railway construction site is significantly dependent on logistics. Firm believers of this, SRS SPITZKE RAIL SWISS AG undertakes internal and external construction site logistics. SRS is supported by SLG SPITZKE LOGISTIK GmbH, the in-house logistics specialists of the SPITZKE Group, for coordination on long distances. It also undertakes the provision of personnel, locomotives and special goods wagons, and coordination of the transport of track-laying machinery over all distances.
The steadily increasing use of the Swiss rail network and continuous development of the rail infrastructure also means continuous maintenance and renewal of the facilities. SRS SPITZKE RAIL SWISS AG together with its parent company offers highly-qualified electrical engineering services – from the contact line through to underground cable laying – and implements complex new contact line installations or individual projects and maintenance measures.
More than one million commuters in Switzerland travel by rail every day. The supply for passenger and goods traffic will be extended further in the future. The maintenance, renewal and new construction of the track in the already tightly synchronised Swiss rail network presents a challenge. We welcome this challenge and are a byword for maximum work output with greatest possible line availability and intelligent process control. Intelligent rail infrastructure construction with SRS – as an individual service and full project realisation from start to finish.
To satisfy all customer wishes, SRS is supported by the company’s own production plant in Möllenhagen (D). SPITZKE FAHRWEGSYSTEME GmbH produces track sleepers and bearers made of prestressed concrete as well as spun concrete masts, which are delivered by the internal logistics division according to the Just In Time system and directly to the place of installation. State-of-the-art technology is used to manufacture the product, for which SPITZKE sets industry standards and meets the highest quality demands.
Rail infrastructure projects are complex and successful project management requires cross-divisional functions with comprehensive knowledge of railway construction, business management, organisation, leadership and law. To ensure that multi-trade projects with high investment sums are implemented successfully in the shortest possible time, our employees purposefully contribute their long-standing experience and sound skills in project management. This enables intelligent control of complex major projects from a single source.
With its technology and rolling stock the SPITZKE Group has modern track, contact line and transport technology in all performance classes for the realisation and support of construction projects in the rail infrastructure sector – including for equivalent and parallel deployment. With this we bring innovative technologies onto the track while ensuring environmentally friendly project implementation to the latest standards at the same time. Including in Switzerland. This is because, as a subsidiary, SRS can rely on being able to access all equipment and machinery at any time.
